SA Dragons Abreast (SADA) is more than just a sports club — we're a community built on strength, resilience, and support. We empower breast cancer survivors and encourage active lifestyles among all members, including those from the wider community. With members aged from 50 to 82, we prove that staying strong and active has no age limit.
For many of us, it's not just about paddling — it’s about friendship, belonging, and the joy of shared experiences.
Our fundraising efforts are a vital part of what we do, and something we all love to get involved in. Funds raised go directly towards assisting our members with the costs of interstate and international travel when we compete, as well as helping us purchase new uniforms and essential equipment. Every dollar helps us continue doing what we love, together.
Beyond the boat, SADA participates in a range of community activities, including the BCNA Bakers Delight Pink Bun Campaign, friendly DragonBoat SA events, and corporate regattas. We also proudly contribute to cancer-related charities and initiatives.
Through our dedication, camaraderie, and tireless community spirit, SADA continues to be a beacon of hope, strength, and support.
