SADA is more than just a sports club. We empower breast cancer survivors and encourage the ageing population to stay active. SADA raises awareness about breast cancer, inspires early detection, and fosters a supportive community. With members aged 50 to 82, we continue to prove that age is just a number when it comes to staying active and strong.
For many of us it is as much about friendship and belonging, and a shared understanding that life is what you make of it. Yes, we do sometimes burn the candle at both ends, but it always ends with smiles on our faces and loads of laughs along the way!
Our FUNDRAISING events and efforts are something we all enjoy and get involved in.
Outside of training and competition, SADA also participates in activities which include the BCNA Bakers Delight Pink Bun Campaign and various friendly DragonBoat SA and Corporate events. SADA's commitment extends to donations for cancer charities and a relentless effort to overcome barriers, we remain a shining example of community support and resilience!
