            TRAINING DETAILS

Training sessions are held at West Lakes Canoe Club, Bower Road, West Lakes. South Australia .

Training sessions take approximately two hours from when we get the boats into the water, warm up, do a training session managed by the coaches, cool down and put the boats away. Actual time on the water is approximately one hour.

New paddlers are invited to participate to the extent that they are able to enjoy the camaraderie of the team atmosphere. It is necessary to pay Dragon Boat SA and club fees to be able to compete during the race season and in other regattas.  Prospective members are invited to join the club following four free training sessions.
